& Rural Energy Infrastructure

For decades, Doug Martens has put rural Montana first.

As a lifelong resident of Rosebud County, Doug knows that we depend on our county sheriff and well-maintained roads to keep us safe and that the fairgrounds is the lifeblood of our community. That’s why as County Commissioner, he invested in improvements for those departments — all while not raising taxes for 11 of his 12 years in office.

He’s been a strong advocate for local energy development and was recognized by Senator Steve Daines as Montanan of the Week for his work promoting coal. This work has allowed him to be a national advocate with service on the National Association of Counties Energy Committee.

Doug Martens will be a strong rural voice for Senate District 18 in Helena.
