For decades, Doug Martens has put rural Montana first.

As a lifelong resident of Rosebud County, Doug knows that we depend on our county sheriff and well-maintained roads to keep us safe and that the fairgounds is the lifeblood of our community. That’s why as County Commissioner, he invested in improvements for those departments — all while not raising taxes for 11 of his 12 years in office.

He’s been a strong advocate for local energy development and was recognized by Senator Steve Daines as Montanan of the Week for the his work promoting coal. This work has allowed him to be a national advocate with service on the National Assoc. of Counties (NACo) Energy Committee.

Doug Martens will be a strong rural voice for Rosebud County in Helena. He will always put his constituents before party bosses & special interests.
